Saving Money Even If It’s Not “On Sale”!

It happens to ALL of us…the dreaded day when you HAVE to break down and buy an item that ISN’T on sale…I know it’s tough but there STILL may be a way to save a little money….

Using a “Coupon Database”

Both of my favorite coupon sites have “Coupon Databases”.  Read more about my Favorite Blogs here. Today I am going to explain using the iheartpublix.com site.

It’s a chilly Saturday afternoon and you have some stew simmering. Boy, wouldn’t some homemade bread win some points with the family??  But NO yeast in the house and… NOT on sale this week! WAIT! Before you run to the store and pay full price try the “Coupon Database”!

  • Click on “Coupon Database”
  • Type “yeast” into search bar

Look at ALL those yeast coupons!!

The Coupons that are underlined are Links!  Click those to print out your coupon!

You will also see some of the coupons from your Sunday inserts!

I see that on 12/06/2012 there was a .40/1 Fleischmann’s Yeast, strip or jar in the RP Insert (Red Plum)

Head over to your organized coupons and pull out the needed insert! To watch a video on how I organize my coupons click here

If I shop on Sunday I always double check the database before going to the store.  (The inserts from the morning paper are not in the match up)  Double checking for new coupons before you go could save you more $$!

I know there are some “newbies” out there from your messages.  PLEASE let me know how you are doing!
