Organize Those Coupons!

Keeping your coupons organized is a MUST!  There are hundreds of ideas on ways to do this.  I have tried several and ending up combining a few to create a SYSTEM that works best for ME!

I have fond memories of my Nana cutting out coupons for hours each Sunday… But that did NOT sound FUN to me!!!….What else could I do?

Here is a video I made to show the system that works for me!

This system is a TIME SAVER because I only cut out coupons that I am defiantly using

Here is the cart I bought from Office Max on the Internet.  Click the picture to go to the link and check it out for yourself.

What do you think? Do you have some suggestions for me that you are using?
Leave me a comment and let me know!

I used to take tons of coupons to the store with me afraid that I would miss even one deal, but it eventually became just too much work and I now have a similar system to yours. I put the coupon inserts in a file box and file them by month. The coupons that I cut out of the inserts or that I print I put into a coupon envelope with my shopping list to take to the store.–Stopping by from Thrifty Thursday!

    Hi Vanessa,
I just have to have a easy system I can handle and cutting out everything…No WAY!
I know what you mean about missing a deal though! I saw some clearance items at the grocery store yesterday and I knew I had coupons for some…frustrating!
But all in all I can live with that…I save so much money couponing…it's addicting!! Don't you think?
    Thanks for reading!

I love seeing how everyone else organizes their coupons! I'm a frugal geek like that! 🙂 I clip my coupons and use baseball style pockets to organize them, but it's all a matter of preference really. Whatever saves us money is wonderful!

You are right Kristen! Whatever works to save Money $$! I tried the binder for a while and I couldn't stay on top of it. I do wish I had my coupons with me sometimes while I'm shopping.
I always plan my list and stick to it…sometimes I miss a deal that way!

That's exactly what I do with my coupons! I have 3 year old twins and a 4 month old. I have ZERO time to clip. You mention how you miss out on some unadvertised deals. Have you heard of The Grocery Game? It's a service you have to pay for but trust me, it is SO worth it! You plug in your zip code, and you choose the stores in your area that you shop at and would like coupon match ups for. Then every week, they put up a list for you of all that weeks coupon matchups. INCLUDING unadvertised deals. I've never missed a deal since doing it. You pay per store that you do a match up. So I do King Soopers, Safeway and Walgreens. I pay $20 every 3 months. So for a little over $5 a month, I get someone else to do all the hard work for me. 🙂 Just thought you might be interested since you mentioned the unadvertised deals. I love the cart you use for your inserts! I wish I'd known about that before I bought my plastic file bin from WalMart. I like the wheels and the drawers! Well maybe sometime I can buy that instead.

Hope you'll come by again and let me know what else you discover!

Congrats – this was the most clicked on link at my "Best Of The Weekend Party" and I was {finally} watching the video and I organize my coupons EXACTLY this way!! I just don't have the rolling cart. Too funny! Featuring this tomorrow.
