44 Cold Brewed Iced Coffee
This girl loves coffee...Nothing like Iced Cold Coffee on a warm summer day! I love the taste of those cute little iced coffee bottles... you know the ones.... you buy them in 4 packs...and they costs LOTS of money $$!
How to Make Creamy Iced Coffee
While I LOVE the flavor of the cute little bottled coffee...I do NOT enjoy the price. Then I discovered how to cold brew coffee and have enjoyed it this way for the past two summers. If you enjoy iced coffee you have to try it...

18 Refreshing Watermelon Salad
Martha, Martha, Martha....another salad inspired by Martha Stewart. I discovered this deliciousness back in the summer of 2007 and my family has been begging me to make it EVER since!
This recipe is adapted from Everyday Food , July/August 2007.
When I first read this recipe, I have to be honest, the thought of putting sweet watermelon...with savory onion and feta...made me crinkle my nose. (in a bad way) My hubby, who is more food adventurous than I, convinced me to try it. Boy am I GLAD WE DID!!!

24 Balancing Motherhood
Many people ask me...
"How did you handle it when your girls left for college?"
"What do you do with all your spare time?"
These are all excellent questions but we shouldn't start asking them when our children are applying for college....preparing for "The Empty Nest" should begin LONG before that.....it should begin the day you become a Mother!"How should I prepare for the "Empty Nest?"
Preparing for the "Empty Nest" Starts the Day
You Become a Mother
