Filling My Nest

Sometimes you see an idea that is so brilliant, yet so simple you have to wonder…

Why Didn’t I Think of That?

Today is another FIRST for Life After Empty Nest! I am so EXCITED to have my first FEATURED BLOGGER!

During this journey through “Blog Land” I LOVE that I am discovering and meeting other bloggers everyday!

Today I am going to introduce you to a Blogger that shared an idea that fits perfectly with the Chalkboard Wineglasses I shared last weekend!

 Featured Blogger

Today I am introducing you to Danielle from Sweet Pea Pod!

It’s funny the things we do without thinking about it. I’ve always sharpened my chalk before writing with it. Have you ever tried to use unsharpened chalk it simply doesn’t work. Well okay thats a bit dramatic it works but not as good.

I really don’t want to make this post longer than it needs to be. It’s simple use a large pencil sharpener (the kind for those fat pencils) and sharpen away!

Filling my Nest

I LOVE that Danielle thought that everyone did this….NOPE not ME!
(And I’m a TEACHER)

I always struggle as I write with chalk… Why don’t they come sharpened??

Oh, Danielle you may be on to something!!

Today’s To Do….Find a SHARPENER!!

Thanks Danielle for stopping by to share with us today!

Sometimes it's the simplest things….I can't believe how much I have always struggled to make my writing look nice! Not anymore…wonder where they sell the sharpeners for fat pencils. I've never looked for one. Let me know if you find one!

A lot of sharpeners (hand held ones) have two sizes these will work!
